DJ Fab

Fab grew up in a musical culture very much inspired from the USA as his parents lived there. He made his first steps with turntables in 1986 and then followed a natural evolution of DJing from private parties to major French clubs and concert halls. Which gave him the opportunity to share the stage with the Wu Tang Clan, Redman, EPMD and many others. Besides, Fab is a good friend of Lord Jazz (Lords of the Underground) who used to present a program called "The Connexion" on radio Generations 88.2 at that time. Fab then took his place until 2001 when the program stopped and created his own program called "Underground Explorer", which focuses on underground US crews and DJs.

In parallel, Fab is also part of Hip Hop Resistance along with his partner Awer, with whom he produces parties and gigs inviting famous US rappers, crews and DJs from L.A., N.Y.,etc, from DITC to Jay Dee (R.I.P.), or DJ Revolution, and so many more. These parties got reknown in the US as much as in Paris, France.

Like many other very busy DJs travelling and mixing all around the world, Fab adopted and endorsed the Serato Scratch LIVE solution from very early on, which completely changed his life.

DJ Fab is one of the most active and influential French underground hip hop actors in France.

"When a friend of mine showed me Scratch LIVE at the beginning, I was not quite sure I could make this step. But once I tried it, even though I love my records so much, I realized how much easier and convenient it was when I was booked over the world, like Beijing for instance.. It was so painful to carry cases of vinyl, just to have them stolen or damaged. You can really have all your records with you on your laptop! It's a great thing for a DJ these days!

As a long term DJ, Scratch LIVE gave me a second life and a new motivation at a time I was thinking of quitting. So sorry for the new DJ's, I am still in the game and I'm gonna be the new sheriff in town."
